We take quality very seriously, as it is one of the founding principles of our business. Our highest priority is to provide you with the best nutrition products available.

To make sure this happens, we invest heavily in manufacturer audits, preshipment sample testing and product-specific surveillance.

Here is how our Quality Assurance adheres to the highest industry standards at Shanghai Freemen.

In-House Testing

Before we introduce any ingredients to our warehouses, we conduct product-specific physical testing in our in-house labs, including:

Our Director of Quality, Allen Ma, who has been with us since 2004, manages our in-house lab and oversees all testing. He and his specially-trained Quality Assurance team only allow the purest ingredients into our inventory.

Third Party Testing

Our trusted partner labs in China, the U.S. and Europe perform all other ingredient testing. We also honor our customers’ request for any type of unique testing parameters they require, as well as accommodate requests to test at a lab of their choosing. Some of our partner labs include:

Auditing Team

We won’t put our name on an ingredient if we aren’t 100% sure of its quality. That’s why we continuously audit the manufacturers we represent.

How do we do it?

We track each manufacturer’s audit scores as well as the consistency of materials matched against our testing. This helps us identify any issues with key testing parameters.

We address any quality concerns with the factory right away. If they fail to make immediate adjustments to bring the product up to par, we disqualify them. Fortunately, this rarely happens, since only the top contenders have been invited to partner with us at all.
